"GBA" stands for "German Blocked Account". DR-WALTER aims at making students and other foreign visitors their stay in Germany and fulfilling the necessary prerequisites as easy as possible. One of the prerequisites for a stay in Germany is obtaining a visa which again is subject to several conditions. One of these conditions is that foreign visitors have to prove that they are able to support themselves during their stay in Germany.

This proof is generally effected by a blocked account. We from DR-WALTER want to make the process of opening an officially approved blocked account as simple as possible for our foreign visitors.
